During expecting Alysha, Ummi kene Pelvic Pain (sakit di pangkal peha)bermula dari usia kandungan 4 bulan..memang seksa...nak melangkah naik turun tangga pun sakit..nak angkat kaki pakai suar pun sakit..dari position duduk bersimpuh ke bersila pun sakit...
Bila tanya gynae Ummi time tuh, Doc Fazlina, jawapannya...'nanti dah bersalin, hilanglah sakitnya'........adeh...memang seksa
Preggie kali ni, Ummi harap sangat tak kene lagi pelvic pain nih...tapi...tup-tup kene lagi since last 2 weeks...cumanya, dah beralih tempat..kalo dulu kat bhg pangkal peha depan...sekarang, kat bahagian tulang tongkeng kat belakang...klu tengok Fig. 1(ecececeh) kat atas nun, bahagian yang sakit sekarang tu kat bahagian 'sacrum'....
Kali ni lagi seksa rasanya...tengah duduk atas kerusi, then angkat kaki kanan nak menguit sikit pun dah terasa ngilu sakitnya...ya Allah!!! memang besar dugaan ibu mengandung nih...memang setimpal dengan pahala yang dijanjikan...
Bila tanya gynae sekarang, Datin Mimin, pun sama jugak..memang takde ubatnya..katanya sebab ligamen² melembut plus Ummi dah banyak kali beranak...sebab tu waktu the 1st three pregnancies dulu takde masalah pelvic pain nih....
Nak kata apa kan...Ummi redha ajelah walau hakikatnya...sakit Tuhan aje yang tahu...tak semua orang diberi rasa sakit nih...Ummi antara orang yang terpilih
Ummi takleh bayangkan macam mana nak harungi lagi 4 1/2 bulan dengan pelvic pain ni...kalo dulu sakit pun Ummi takyah nak dukung sesape sbb Adam pun dah umo 5 tahun...tapi sekarang, si Alysha tu asek nak berdukung jek...terpaksa lah layan...dia bukannya tahu pape
Syukurlah semester tinggal less than 1 month je lagik...
so, takyah le berdiri lelama time dah sarat nnti...
sem depan pun insyaAllah takyah ngajar sebab tak lama lepas tu
dah nak amik maternity leave pulak...Alhamdulillah syukur
some info on pelvic pain from here:
Posterior pelvic pain (in the back of the pelvis) is four times more prevalent than lumbar pain in pregnancy. It is a deep pain felt below and to the side at the waistline, and/or below the waistline on either side across the tailbone (sacrum). Such pregnancy pelvic pain may be experienced on one or both sides.
Posterior pelvic pain in pregnancy can extend down into the buttock and upper portion of the posterior (in back of) thighs, and does not usually radiate below the knees. It can be associated with pubic pain. The pain does not quickly resolve with rest, and morning stiffness may also be present.
Posterior pelvic pain during pregnancy can be brought on or exacerbated by the following activities:
Rolling in bed
Climbing stairs
Sitting and rising from a seated position (such as getting in and out of cars, bathtubs, bed)
Lifting, twisting, bending forward
Running and walking.
A job that involves prolonged postures at extreme ranges (such as sitting at a computer and leaning forward, standing and leaning over a desk or workstation) increases the risk of developing pregnancy pelvic pain.
Unlike many other forms of lower back pain in pregnancy, a previous high level of fitness does not necessarily prevent posterior pelvic pain while pregnant.
